GarmGrayblade: secret door on a cliffside, my crazy tavern theories seem
more likely now ::he started to look around for anything unusual::
Junior Unleashed: ::He heard Elely as he joined the group. heading the
opposite direction of Garm to begin looking:: Hopefully we can find it..-d-
Melodies of Boom: While Fae was very excited to finally be on a real
adventure with the team, her demeanor had changed the closer they got to the
cliff. Quieter, and more focused as she moved carefully with the ground,
listening to Elely and then
Melodies of Boom: sweeping her gaze over the cliff side, starting to walk
along it while pressing and dragging her hand. "An actual door? Or maybe just
a hole.."
Junior Unleashed: ::He picked up a stick and back smacked the cliff face
every couple feet as he kept his eyes open. Peering through the darkness as
easily as daylight. Listening for a hollow sound instead of the solid
percussion he was getting
TwilightHealer: ::El shrugged at fae's question:: We'll find out shortly
neh? Part of the fun is seeing if the rumors are true or not. ::she kept her
hand raised slightly so that the light could extend as much as it could.::

Melodies of Boom: Turning back, she headed over to where Junior was and
leaned past him, going so far as to simply push on the hidden door in hopes
that it would be easy enough to open. "Who put this door here, I wonder?"
TwilightHealer: ::Like the others El came over towards Junior:: ::The
outline of the door would become clear as Junior tapped around the wall.
Written on the door was dwarven script. Does anyone speak dwarven?:: -d-

GarmGrayblade: ::Garm sighed:: dwarves, always leaving their junk everywhere
::he looked over the letters::
Melodies of Boom: Fae did! Language had been part of her training from a
young age, so she would be able to understand spells and other things in
other languages should she come across them.
GarmGrayblade: ::so the half-orc and the elf would both try reading it side
by side!::
TwilightHealer: ::as they began to inspect the door Fae and Garm would be
able to read ontop of the door was the phrase ""The password is monkey"" ::

GarmGrayblade: the password is monkey??
Melodies of Boom: "Monkey?" She said with a blink, wondering if she was
actually reading that correctly. She was validated when the half orc said it
too.
GarmGrayblade: course you'd have to say it in dwarven I guess... I only
learned to read the language never learned to speak it
Melodies of Boom: She would repeat it, though this time in dwarven, such a
rough language..gutteral, harsh.
TwilightHealer: :::When they spoke the password the carvings on door snapped
to live. Two eyes and a mouth appearing:: Hello Adventurers. -d-
GarmGrayblade: well thats creepy... re you a living door or a puzzle door?
Melodies of Boom: "Oh!" She stepped back a half step, looking up and down at
the door before settling on the eyes. "Hello Mr. Door."
Junior Unleashed: ::He put aside his own thoughts for now, though his head
tilted to the side:: Hello..-d-
TwilightHealer: <el> that is...interesting never saw a door talk before.
<door> Well you're creepy too mr. half orc Hello Ms. Elf. Hello Mr. Vampire.

Melodies of Boom: "Vampire?" She looked over at Junior now, suddenly aware
of what he was; it had never actually come up. Attention went back to the
door soon enough, though. "Would you mind very much opening so we can go
inside?"
Junior Unleashed: What would happen if I poked you in the eye? :;he just out
and asked curiously:;-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::face palm:: you don't ask those kind of questions until
after peaceful talks have failed
TwilightHealer: <door> I can not open until the password is spoken Ms. Elf.
Mr. Vampire how would you like to be poked in the eye! -d-
Junior Unleashed: Well I didn't know if you felt pain, did it hurt when I
thumped you in the face while I was looking for you?-d-
GarmGrayblade: but we said Monkey, well i think she did
Melodies of Boom: "Monkey was the password, was it not?" That's what the
door had said, right? Looking down a moment, then back at the
door..perhaaaps..no, it couldn't be.
TwilightHealer: <door> I wasn't awake to feel it Mr. Vampire. And yes Mr.
half-orc she did say the password but :: the door rolled its eyes as if
debating:: It is not you has to say it. -d-
GarmGrayblade: so you have to say the password?
TwilightHealer: <door> I can not help you to open me.
Melodies of Boom: Well, why not. Monkey was the password, and what noise did
a monkey make? Fae decided it was worth trying and with a small blush,
offered up her best money noise impression.
Melodies of Boom: *monkey
TwilightHealer: ::elely giggled when Fae made the monkey noises. It was so
funny to hear such a noise come from her team mate:: -d-
GarmGrayblade: :he gave a look to the elf:: what was that?
Melodies of Boom: "It..it was..a monkey?" The blush darkened, giving a small
shrug. "It was worth a try."
Junior Unleashed: ::He watched for the moment:: She said the password in
common, dwarven, even tried monkey noises. Are you gonna open yet?-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::he looked at the dwarven runes and tried pressing the word
"monkey"::
TwilightHealer: <elely> I think we have to get the door to say the password

Melodies of Boom: "What password?" She asked Elely, casting a wink at her
fellow elf, then looking around at the others.
TwilightHealer: ::el blinked at the wink and pointed to the door:: the
password is monkey you said. ::she didn't read dwarven and hadn't casted read
language so she trusted Fae and Garm for the translation:: <door> I dont know

Junior Unleashed: Turkeys, Donkeys, and Monkeys. ::Yes horrible joke, he
shrugged his shoulders:: Maybe I should just poke it in the eye with this
here stick, untill it says the word. -d-
GarmGrayblade: it has eyes of stone junior.... so maybe a pickaxe
Melodies of Boom: She'd been trying to get the door to say the password at
her question, but..that had clearly been missed. Sighing softly, she crossed
her arms and looked quietly at the door, "Piano keys don't open doors." He
had asked what sort of
GarmGrayblade: ::then he thought about junior's joke:: well a monkey could
open a door
Melodies of Boom: keys open no door, and at this point, she was just trying
to get the damn thing to open.
GarmGrayblade: and a donkey could kick it open
Junior Unleashed: And of course, today i forget my pick, and my axe..
::pokes it in the eye with the stick anyways::-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::he looked to the door:: could you please say the password,
sooner you say sooner we're not poking and bugging you
TwilightHealer: ::hm... the elven woman tapped her chin thinking:: Junior
go ahead and poke it with a stick. Unless anyone has any other ideas. -d-
Melodies of Boom: "We could try to find another way in." She offered,
raising an annoyed brow at the door, "Because someone is either being very
rude, or is actually incapable of opening. Is that it, Mr. Door? Do you not
actually open, do you? Silly
Melodies of Boom: thing, a door that can't even open. I think we should go."
She gestured to the others, though how taunting she was being to the door was
unlike Fae, hopefully the others would catch on to what she was attempting to
do.
TwilightHealer: <door> I do to open! You just haven't figured out the
password! ::the door got huffy at being insulted in such a way:: -d-
GarmGrayblade: what password?
TwilightHealer: <door> The password! The password that's written on my
forhead! -d-
Junior Unleashed: Ya, he can't open. He even lied about the poking of the
eye hurting.. We'll find another way in.. ::he turned and followed
Faelyn::-d-
Melodies of Boom: "It's not my job to know the password, now is it? You're
the door, you're supposed to know it." She said, shaking her head. "I don't
think he knows he, do you, Elely?"
Junior Unleashed: How could he it written on his forehead, I doubt he can
even read. When the last time you heard of a smart door? People do all the
work.-d-

GarmGrayblade: you're a door you don;t have a forehead...then again if you
can;'t open then are you really a door, maybe you're just a very confused

TwilightHealer: <el> ::el was a terrible liar and this game of fake lying

the door open::
Melodies of Boom: Fae switched back now, giggling and placing a victorious
hand on her hip, "Now that wasn't so hard, was it?" She beamed, looking to
her half orc teammate. "I couldn't have done it without help."
Junior Unleashed: Very good, and I even got to poke it in the eye with a
stick.. I really wanted to do that.-d-
GarmGrayblade: okay, well lets be carefull going in, could be something
awful in there ::he drew two atrocity knives::
TwilightHealer: <elely> YAY! Great job every body ::she jumped up and down
with excitement that they solved the way to get into the underground:: so it
looks like the rumors are true! there is an underground vault down here. Fae
would you like to l
TwilightHealer: ead us down? -d-
Melodies of Boom: "Absolutely." She raised a hand and summoned a small
fireball to give herself a small torch, this added more light for the group
to go with Elely's ring. Stepping in now through the open door, keen ears
listening for any sign of
Melodies of Boom: danger, taking a few steps in before gesturing for the
others to follow.
GarmGrayblade: ::off they'd go:: you guys need some sort of see in the dark
potions or something, cause all this light will alert people that we're
coming
Melodies of Boom: "Hopefully we will hear them before we are visible."
Faelyn was not comfortable with the idea of potions, they had such a tendency
to go horribly wrong.
Junior Unleashed: ::He followed behind Garm. Keeping his eyes open for
trouble.:: You know down here sound travels very well.. ::whispered just loud
enough for them to hear::-d-
TwilightHealer: ::El let her potential second lead the way since she was
testing Fae with this adventure. Then Garm then Junior then herself. ::::
Welcome to room 1! Room was was another puzzle room. The floor was made of
white marble. The walls
TwilightHealer: were jagged rock. The cieling was colored panels which were
in a pattern. Infront of the party were six basins. And a table in the middle
of the room. On the table were flasks of liquid and flint:: -d
Melodies of Boom: "..This is..different." Stepping depper into the room,
she'd allow the little ball of fire to raise up and cast light over most of
the room to the rest of them could see. "Let's see.."
Junior Unleashed: ::He would head over to look at the flasks to see what
they were. If they were mared in any way::-d-
TwilightHealer: ::The flasks held oil :: <el> wow interesting room. Look at
how shiny this floor is! -d-
Junior Unleashed: Hmm.. ::Then he headed over to inspect the basins. Taking
out those clear lensed glasses and slipping them on.. he would make sure to
protect his eyes. It seemed like the thing to do at the moment::-d-
Melodies of Boom: "There is a pattern on the roof." She studied it for a
moment before approaching the table to look at the flasks of liquid, leaning
down to smell the contents of one.
TwilightHealer: ::the basins were just regular basins for fire.:: ::the
flasks had oil in it.:: d-
GarmGrayblade: do the basins need to line up with a certain color in the
pattern?
Melodies of Boom: "Oil and flint..we're meant to make fire. But what does
that have to do with the ceiling..? Any ideas?" Looking up again at the tiles
now.
TwilightHealer: ::she looked towards Junior then to Garm then towards Fae
then back to Junior:: what do you think Junior? -d-
Junior Unleashed: Well we are definately ment to make fire in the basins. I
don't know in what pattern. We could try lighting fire in one basic and see
what we can see then.. :;he shrugged, he was at a loss:: Or look around for
any markings or -d-
Junior Unleashed: inscriptions some kind of hint.-d-
Melodies of Boom: "There are six colors, and six basins." That was one thing
she had noticed, crossing her arms and looking around the room. The marble
floor, the jagged walls, were they of any importance. Was there even a door
here, what was the
Melodies of Boom: purpose of this?
TwilightHealer: Junior I think your Idea is along Garms. ::she looked
towards Fae:: The choice is yours dear. ::there was no visible door:: -d-
GarmGrayblade: so move a basin under one of each color?
Melodies of Boom: "Six rows..six colors..let's study our surroundings before
we make a move. If we act too soon, we could end up stopping our own
adventure here." She sat down on the ground now and quietly looked about the
room, pondering.
TwilightHealer: ::El's hands folded behind her back as she let her team
decide what to do:: -d-
Junior Unleashed: ::He stood then and thought. The pattern gave no
indication, atleast to him, of where to place the basins or in what
order::-d-
GarmGrayblade: left to right top to bottom maybe?
TwilightHealer: ::The ground shook once as if it were an earth quake though
very minor:: -d-
Melodies of Boom: Getting back to her feet, she walked back to the table and
leaned, looking up. The table was in the center of the room, and the colors
right above it were the six different once, were they not?
Junior Unleashed: ::He moved to walk under the color pattern, looking up at
it to see if the colors were as they appeared::-d-
TwilightHealer: ::the colors were as they appeared. who has an oil flask in
hand?:: -d-
Melodies of Boom: Fae picked one up, the same one she had been looking at
before.
TwilightHealer: ::Fae you'll notice that the more you shake the oil flask
the more it turned red, like the color on the cieling:: -d-
Melodies of Boom: She'd tilted it with her movements, glancing down and
blinking at the color change. "Junior, Garm, shake the flasks. I think I have
an idea." She said as she shook her own now.
Junior Unleashed: :;he nodded moving over toward the table. Picking up a
flask and shook it. Figured he might as well.::-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::garm grabbed two flasks and shaked them up::
Junior Unleashed: Lets poke the pattern with a stick.. :;as he picked up a
second flask and shook it::-d-
TwilightHealer: ::when all else fails poke it with a stick XD Fae's turned
red, Juniors turned black, garm's turned orange and blue:: -d-
Melodies of Boom: "I promise you will get to poke something with a stick."
Looking at all the flasks, Fae got a very specific grin on her face, "Okay.
Pour each of the flasks into the basins, and move them beneath a tile of
matching color." She did
Melodies of Boom: so to make her point, pouring the red into one of the
basins, she moved it beneath a red tile and then lit it with her own little
fireball.
TwilightHealer: ::El moved to get the green one and moved one of the basins
under the green tile and shook the oil then poured the oil into the basin.
Grabbing the flint and lighting it:: -d
Junior Unleashed: ::He followed instructions. Moving to pour the now black
oil into a basin.. then slid it beneath a black tile. Taking a match from
his pocket and lit his oil basin::-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::he did as fae said:
TwilightHealer: :El ran and got the last flask then poured it in the basin
and moved it under the tile. :: ::once all the basins were lit and put in
order the flames changed colors to match the tiles they were under. It seemed
they had found the pa
TwilightHealer: ttern! The right wall rumbled and the wall itself parted
revealing a set of stairs that decended into darkness:: (can't believe none
of you have played baulders gate before)
Melodies of Boom: "We did it!" She smiled some, moving to the now open wall
and looking down the stairs, pausing to look back at the others, "Everyone
ready to keep going?" Faelyn had no problem taking lead on this if no one
objected, she hadn't even
Melodies of Boom: given it a second thought.
Junior Unleashed: ::He nodded, moving over to the door. (You must first
collect your party before you can move to the next area)::-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::Garm would move on to the next room::
TwilightHealer: ::Fae do you stil have your fireball on?:: -d-
Melodies of Boom: Yes, it was covering lightly infront of her form, a little
flicker just enough to illuminate about three feet around her own frame.
TwilightHealer: ::the stairs were really steep. Fae, roll a 1d20. We're
looking for under 15. ))

weight of them all and with that last little push from Elely, they were all

TwilightHealer: ::anddddddddddd Thanks to your fearless leader......Everyone
goes sliding! She hit Junior who hit garm who hit fae! Down the slide they
would go into ...the most requested back Pool of electric Eels! The pool was
six feet deep and s
TwilightHealer: wimming with electric eels. I'll wait for character
reactions before continuing:: -d-
GarmGrayblade: ::why do people keep finding these eels!!!::

Melodies of Boom: Splash! She hit the water first, looking around in a panic
before coming to the surface. There was a moment of panic as she realized
what they were swimming with before she took a few deep breaths, "Is everyone
okay?"
Junior Unleashed: ::Falling into the eel pool, he looked around:: Yep.. but
we should get you all out of here, your hearts can actually stop if these
things zap you..-d-
GarmGrayblade: ::hit bottom kick up with fee float to top:: not a fan of
deep water
TwilightHealer: ::El squealed and until she hit the water then started
splashing about until she saw the eels:: uh oh........::swimming in wedges
and a dress was not exactly the best thing:: ::To get out of the water
without getting zapped 1d10. 5

Welcome to room 1! Room was was another puzzle room. The floor was made of
white marble. The walls
TwilightHealer: were jagged rock. The cieling was colored panels which were
in a pattern. Infront of the party were six basins. And a table in the middle
of the room. On the table were flasks of liquid and flint:: -d
Melodies of Boom: "..This is..different." Stepping depper into the room,
she'd allow the little ball of fire to raise up and cast light over most of
the room to the rest of them could see. "Let's see.."
Junior Unleashed: ::He would head over to look at the flasks to see what
they were. If they were mared in any way::-d-
TwilightHealer: ::The flasks held oil :: <el> wow interesting room. Look at
how shiny this floor is! -d-
Junior Unleashed: Hmm.. ::Then he headed over to inspect the basins. Taking
out those clear lensed glasses and slipping them on.. he would make sure to
protect his eyes. It seemed like the thing to do at the moment::-d-
Melodies of Boom: "There is a pattern on the roof." She studied it for a
moment before approaching the table to look at the flasks of liquid, leaning
down to smell the contents of one.

pattern?
Melodies of Boom: "Oil and flint..we're meant to make fire. But what does
that have to do with the ceiling..? Any ideas?" Looking up again at the tiles

Junior Unleashed: Well we are definately ment to make fire in the basins. I
don't know in what pattern. We could try lighting fire in one basic and see

she had noticed, crossing her arms and looking around the room. The marble
floor, the jagged walls, were they of any importance. Was there even a door

Melodies of Boom: "Six rows..six colors..let's study our surroundings before
we make a move. If we act too soon, we could end up stopping our own
adventure here." She sat down on the ground now and quietly looked about the
room, pondering.

Junior Unleashed: ::He stood then and thought. The pattern gave no
indication, atleast to him, of where to place the basins or in what

Melodies of Boom: Getting back to her feet, she walked back to the table and
leaned, looking up. The table was in the center of the room, and the colors
right above it were the six different once, were they not?
Junior Unleashed: ::He moved to walk under the color pattern, looking up at
it to see if the colors were as they appeared::-d-
TwilightHealer: ::the colors were as they appeared. who has an oil flask in

Melodies of Boom: Fae picked one up, the same one she had been looking at
before.
TwilightHealer: ::Fae you'll notice that the more you shake the oil flask
the more it turned red, like the color on the cieling:: -d-
Melodies of Boom: She'd tilted it with her movements, glancing down and
blinking at the color change. "Junior, Garm, shake the flasks. I think I have
an idea." She said as she shook her own now.
Junior Unleashed: :;he nodded moving over toward the table. Picking up a
flask and shook it. Figured he might as well.::-d-

Junior Unleashed: Lets poke the pattern with a stick.. :;as he picked up a

Looking at all the flasks, Fae got a very specific grin on her face, "Okay.
Pour each of the flasks into the basins, and move them beneath a tile of
matching color." She did
Melodies of Boom: so to make her point, pouring the red into one of the
basins, she moved it beneath a red tile and then lit it with her own little
fireball.
TwilightHealer: ::El moved to get the green one and moved one of the basins
under the green tile and shook the oil then poured the oil into the basin.
Grabbing the flint and lighting it:: -d
Junior Unleashed: ::He followed instructions. Moving to pour the now black
oil into a basin.. then slid it beneath a black tile. Taking a match from
his pocket and lit his oil basin::-d-

TwilightHealer: :El ran and got the last flask then poured it in the basin
and moved it under the tile. :: ::once all the basins were lit and put in
order the flames changed colors to match the tiles they were under. It seemed
they had found the pa

revealing a set of stairs that decended into darkness:: (can't believe none
of you have played baulders gate before)
Melodies of Boom: "We did it!" She smiled some, moving to the now open wall
and looking down the stairs, pausing to look back at the others, "Everyone
ready to keep going?" Faelyn had no problem taking lead on this if no one
objected, she hadn't even
